I am thinking of converting up some of those Slaanesh knights. Using Dark Eldar legs and then finding the right kind of body bit and weapon. any ideas on what would be good to use? and which of the Slaanesh knights is better to have?
I have a Khorne tower of Skulls currently on bid for $0.99USD for starters looking out for Brass scorpions, cauldron of blood etc.

Well I'd use Dark Eldar and Eldar pieces from the 40K sprues for Slan Knights. I'm not real that crazy about knights period ... But as a modelling note ... As you can see I converted the plastic Imp. Knights from the Titan Legion box into Chaos. At the time Chaos lacked vehicles compared to the other armies. As you see, I took the "Face" off some of these Imp. Knights and replaced them with other Chaos faces/heads. And some I mounted on the Hell-Strider. If you look closely at the blurry pics you'll see the slight conversion. And on two of the Hell-Knights, I removed the Turret (and made another Eldar tank type !), and replaced it with a plastic Terminator Hvy Flammer. So I really don't have a fav knight. They all are pretty weird, IMO ...  And 99? is pretty good for any of those Chaos Engine ! Good luck on the bids !

I was looking at CHAOS CULTISTS - THE LOST AND THE DAMNED.
And saw the Chaos Alter, have been busy converting two of these up for the Khorne and Slaanesh cults we are slowly building.
I'll put some pics up next week of them and of the Slaanesh Titans I have finally glued up and have started under coating them.

I have been looking at the Black legion list and i can not find a listing for any of the daemon engines??
but in the Lost and the damned list they are there.
I am i mistaken thinking that the Chaos space marines should be able to have these weapons?
sorry if this is a retarded question just seems weird they aren't listed.

I agree, I have my Chaos Deamon Engines with both my SMs & Cultists. Based on SM1 & 2 rules. I'll PM one of the Chaos experts.

The "official" approval from Jervis about the lists is pending. But according to the current unapproved list only Cultists can use them ??! Huh ?!?! There seems to be some question about that decision ... Frankly, I think both CSMs and Cultists can use'm.

well we might still use them with my bro's khorne CSM's when we can find any for sale that aren't to expensive.
Legion 4: those Space marine figs can be used for his khorne CSM if we mix them up with the CSM figs and then paint them red and gold?

Do that, as that's what we do, and it works for us. And we had a discussion about this on the Black Legion thread. And again, we always do what works for you ... I do ! Yes, painting standard Space Marines in Chaos colors, mixing them with some CSMs is not at all unheard of ...

In SM1, SM2, E40K Slann got Titans, so that's good enough for me. And yes, regardless of Weapons options, Warlord = 800 ... In SM1, Cultists could use pretty much all the IG vehicles. Since many of the Cultists are IG gone to the Darkside. As far as the Decimator, I don't know how this came about ... but if the new lists say it's O.K., go for it ! L4

I'll get me some heavy tanks then. I'll use one or two for Decimators in the khorne list.
So the titan will be 800pts regardless of weapons..... mmmmm that's all good then,
when they mention the term unit how many figs are we talking about. 1 stand of 5 infantry or 2 stands of 5 infantry?

A unit defined by the Epic:A rule book is a single model or infantry stand. A stand is usually 5 figures (5 holes on base = 5 figs), however, the rules state 3-7 figures ... So I normally go with 5 ...
