So, tell us some more. Did you start with an armature? Is it classic greenstuff, or did you intermix with milliput, brown stuff, or apoxie sculpt?
What tools did you use?
How did you insure the dimensions were correct?
You know, show off and stuff for us.

Did you start with an armature?
Bits of electrical wire, bent into the proper shape for the legs, a couple of bits of plasticard (Not much luckily, otherwise cutting it in half for casting would have sucked).
Is it classic greenstuff, or did you intermix with milliput, brown stuff, or apoxie sculpt?
Green stuff all the way (I havn't ordered up any brown stuff yet, although I will soon as I'd like to raise the quality of my sculpts).
What tools did you use?
Dental tools.
How did you insure the dimensions were correct?
I ensured the dimentions were correct by guestimating and vague measuring ensuring that it was one fifth the size.

That works for me.

Well, the rumour mill at my game store mentioned redone FW epic 'nids in 2009. even if they do make new Tyranids in '09, this (and hopefully more to follow) may be better. Aw, screw it! It WILL be better than the FW stuff.

Personally, I like the homebrew sculpts better than the GW ones. The only advantage to GW is the ability to get them in far larger quanities. The homemade ones just have so much more personality in them!
