An easy conversion and one that non air drop armies could find useful. Everyone agree on the following?

Land Raider Helios
Type Armoured Vehicle
Speed 25cm
Armour 4+
Close Combat 6+
Firefight 5+
2 x Twin Lascannon, 45cm, AT4+
Whirlwind Launcher, 45cm, 1BP, Indirect Fire
Notes: Reinforced Armour, Thick Rear Armour, Transport (may carry one of the following units: Space Marine Tactical, Devastator & Scout units).

Stats look cool.

I'd say that trading 4 heavy bolter shots for 4 BP is worth a point bump - a modest one, perhaps, but a bump nonetheless.

Pointscost? Replace a LandRaider = +50pts
Add Helios to Detachmend = +150pts

Yes I've found adding one if a good step for every formation, so costing at mo at 50 (maybe 25, depends on list maybe), however its not worth 200 for 4.  So Blacklegions 150 may be better (perhaps less if you go with 25 for one?). Hard to cost in general outside a lists context, and even then I've used them very little so far.

I think you misunderstood me.

I used as upgrade for a LandRaider Detachmend, you would remove one LandRaider and replace it with a LandRaider Helios for an addition of 50pts.

If youhave an say a Tactical Detachmend and want to add a LandRauder Helios,
add the LandRaider Helios for 150pts, or remove one Rhino and add two LandRaider Helios for 300pts.

For me the removing of the Twin Heavy Bolter and halve the Transport capacity and adding the Whirlwind Launcher is worth 50pts.

Identical stats to what I had. Look fine to me. Points wise, maybe +25 per Helios? Too little? I think +50 per Helios might be too expensive to make them worthwhile. On the other hand, the first one is going to add a LOT to the firepower of the formation. After that, subsequent Helioses aren't going to do as much.
