Tom, when's C/Orc gett'm ?  And IIRC, do they come with weapons options ?  And good point D/S ... Or a "Gun Drone" !  In RVN, sometimes the Cav Cobras were  called "Gunslingers" !  Get Some !  :)

No weapon options i'm afraid, we originally got sculpted a MFRL as an option but it didn't pass quality control. We'll be looking into a turret pack for them at a later date, or at least turrets in the (limited) component ordering service we are investigating.

UCAV is better, I apologise, my acronyms are failing me today :). I'll leave C/O to make his annoucements.

Hhmm. For a long time I've had this crazy idea of "modernising" the look of the Epic Squat vehicles... This thingy is just about perfect for a Iron Eagle. Of course, I would have to cut up the forward hull but it's 75% there without any modifications.

I've just finished to take a ride on this BIG topic. Hummmm ! Just to be sure :

You live in a hut  in the middle of a frozen forest surrounded by a swamp. Of course you don't have a TV, the last movie you saw on a theatre was in black and white, you're computer is broken so that you only have access to the TC home page, you must eat 2 or 3 times a week, you sleep never more than 3 hours a night, a third hand has grown on your back and each of the fingers are replaced with paintbrush, you don't have any social life and the last girl you can remember is your mother the day of you delivery.

If I'm wrong, you must come from another solar system !! How can you find the time to paint, scult, build so many fantastic pieces ?? You're not human ! Keep on the good work, it's inspiring and so good for our eyes.

Out of interest - what bits don't you like about the model :), with critiques even after they have been cast we can make sure that the next version of the model is even better ;).

And of course any varients we do can take into account the feedback from the forums.

I'm not much of a fan of the Valkyrie to be honest.  I'd cut off everything from the canopy forward, then cut off the gun barrel and butt join it where the canopy used to be.  But that's just me.

BTW, if it is a drone, why does it have a canopy at all?

Is it 'cos that's where all the optical sensors are located - a throw back to the days of old when the Khazari actually piloted them manually????

Whatever, they just look 'right' with cockpits. :cool:

Well, IMO the front section just hangs too low and considering there is no crew the cockpit is too big.

But that would not be a problem if I played it as a Khazari drone gunship. For an iron eagle (which has a crew) the cockpit area has to be widened.

EDIT: I would post a sketch here but I don't have a website (and am too lazy to open a photobucket account just for this purpose) .

I know it looks very different from most of what has been seen, but I like the gunship.

And no, that's not because I'm a blind devotee of the Cult of Exodus Wars.

It has a unique, very Sci Fi look to it. ?While it is a bit too slender, that would make it a very difficult target to hit head on. ?It also has a good otherworldly profile.

Someone (in another thread, I think) mentioned it had an insectoid look. ?I could imagine it landing on sets of long thin legs that unfold from beneath it. ?

Would make a good Ornithopter. ?Someone on another miniatures forum is doing a set of Dune armies and this would work very nicely in that role.

For some reason it also brings to mind the Terminator movies, but I can't recall what the VTOLs looked like.

BTW, love the Snipers. ?They just look like a serious threat.

Well, I think what F/S said makes sense ... I like the bird too ... and as I said more weapons options (like AH1s & AH64s) is a good thing !  I posted pics of the E/W AFV turrets, I "mixed & matched" on E/W Hulls ... So I see extra weapons as a + !!!!  :D   Thanks Tom !

Oh, yeah, I'm in favor of turret packs as well.  I've bought several from GZG and I don't even like them that much.  Only 2 versions out of howevermany you get are to my liking.

I like the idea of being able to buy turrets and stick them on whatever model I like.
