Hey Guys,

I've just dug up my box of Titan Legions in a bid to get rid of all excess junk - it's in a very, very good condition and I just wanted to know roughly how much it is worth these days; someone has offered me ?30 for the entire box including additional Reaver Titans, Land Raiders/Tanks, Infantry etc. Is that a good price, or is it a bit low? No idea whether its completely worthless or its become a collector's thing.

Pictures of the boxed set:

Thanks for any advice/opinions guys!

Whilst on the subject of models, value on this as well? :P

Well, considering that Imperator Titans can reach as much as ?40+ on eBay nowadays, I'd think you could get quite a bit more than ?30 for that lot!  Especially as you've got lots of extra marines, Titans, Knight stuff too.  I think, if you're looking to get the best price, you might be better putting it all on eBay.

I agree, you should be able to get lot more for everything. I can understand that  you might want to make it easy on yourself and sell it all to one person, but you should be able to get at least double what you were offered.

I can't help with the 40k stuff, since I don't play it, but I might be interested in some of the Terminators for Space Hulk.

I would expect to sell that little lot of Epic for at least ?80, I suspect if you put it on Ebay for a buy it now of ?100 you'd probably get it.  You'd have to lay it out nicely and present it well though!

40k is still in production and is one of GW major focus's so not sure how much for that lot.

Hi!

Epic boxed sets are always a e-bay favorite and go for good amounts of cash.

No, I already have a copy of Space Hulk, including the two supplements. I never got around to buying the special Terminators, like the one with lighting claws or the assault cannon. That's why I'm interested in the Terminators themselves.

BTW: Welcome to the forum!

I think it's all about what people are prepared to pay really.
I personally wouldn't shell out ?40 for an Imperator but if someone wants to its up to them.
BTW, i am the person that offered him ?30 for the box.
Based really on the fact that i remember that being pretty much the price for buying it brand new all those years ago.

I've just started getting back into the hobby after almost a decade hiatus. Looks like i have some catching up to do.
Been playing Dawn Of War on the PC which has brought back good memories of playing Epic all that time ago.
I knew i still had a lot of models stored on top of the wardrobe so am going through them at the moment.
Some of the armies are a bit OTT which is what you do when you're a bit younger so i'm going to basically be scaling them down and keeping equal sized forces of Marines, Imperial Guard, Titan Legion, Eldar, Orks & Squats to play against each other.
Look out for some eBay items from me in the coming weeks when i've decided what excess units and troops to cull.

Neither would I. Even if I wanted another, I wouldn't pay much more than $30. I think ?30 was a fair offer for TL, considering that's about how much it was brand new, but the market for it right now is definitely higher.

BTW, welcome to the forum, Saddler!

Yeh, i see everythings a lot more expensive now on eBay.
I didn't realise until i checked the GW site a week or so back that they've phased a lot of the old games out.

Myself and friends that played Epic pretty much stopped about 18 months after Titan Legions was released. Haven't been so much as near a GW since then.
I know a lot of us were getting fed up with price hikes and the empthasis of the game changed so much that the titans virtually ruled every game played.

Although i stopped playing i was pretty sentimental about a lot of the stuff i'd collected so kept it all. I've thought about sticking it all on eBay a few times but i can't bring myself to get rid of it. Good job as i'm now looking to get back into it.

I noticed that a few people have been looking for Squat items.
I've got quite a large army for Squats. I picked it up off a friend when he decided to jack the game in. I never actually used it in battle and its all unpainted.
When i've decided on what points totals to limit the armies to i'll likely be splitting it down so there'll be a few lead items available on eBay.
Off the top of my head theres 2 Cyclops, 3 Collossus each with Gyrocopter, 3 Land Trains with 4 cars each, A company of Gyrocopters, 4 airships, 2 batteries of AA, 2 large AA cannons. Shed loads of plastic stands of brothers, trikes, thudd guns etc.
Obviously this won't all be on sale but you can see what i've got to choose from so there'll be a few bits.

I can understand getting fed up with the GW's price hikes. I remember when a Trygon blister went from about $6 for two Trygons to $5 for one.

If you're fan of the SM2 rules, take a look at NetEpic, which is an improved version of SM2.

If you have any spare Goliaths, I'm interested. I'm looking to pick up three more Goliaths and then I'm pretty much done adding to my Squat army.

Cheers mate. I'll have a look at the NetEpic rules.
SM2 is indeed the era i started playing in.

You'll have to forgive my memory but are the Goliaths the large AA guns? ???

Goliaths are the large howitzers. Thunderfires are the 3-barrel AA guns. If you haven't played in a while, I can certainly understand why you forgot which they are.
