Post subject:  Death Korps of Krieg 2000 pts Friendly List
Hey everyone, new to Epic Armageddon but I've got a friendly 'learn to play' day coming up and wanted to bring a list that is 'fair' in that I believe the others who are coming are either veterans who are making friendly lists or new people like me who are likely picking units from what they own or have picked up over time.

Here's what I've got so far as far as a list goes:

Companies:

REGIMENTAL HQ - 950 Pts
Supreme Commander Unit
19 Infantry Stands
1 Macharius
2 Gorgon with Mortars
1 Tank Squadron - Leman Russ, Leman Russ, Leman Russ

INFANTRY COMPANY - 650 Pts
1 Commander Unit
19 Infantry Units
1 Macharius
2 Gorgon with Mortars

Support Formations:

SUPER-HEAVY TANK PLATOON - 200
1 Shadowsword

SUPER-HEAVY TANK PLATOON - 200
1 Stormlord


Thanks everyone, I'll report back with a battle report or two from the day depending on how many games I get in and how fast I get a handle of the rules.

So I ended up losing both games I played however I did learn a fair bit about the flaws in this list, mostly limited activations and how my largest formation was largely ignored while my Superheavy tank platoons were picked off one at a time and reducing my map control which limited my ability to go for objectives and finish off broken units. I think cutting additional units in the Infantry Company and the Regimental HQ while adding some thunderbolt fighters and some AA units will help cover my bases and add more options for me to make use of during the game.

Hey Jimbo. A good rule of thumb for list building is to aim for a minimum of 3 to 4 activations per 1000 pts. That's usually a good place to start to make sure you can get obj control and not let your opponent run around w free actions at the end if a turn.

Thanks for the feedback and certainly something I'm looking at for my next list which will be at 3k points for next month. What I've got at the moment has 10 activation and 4 of those are heavy support battery's with basilisks in 2 and Hydra's in the other 2 to finish off broken units and anti air cover respectively.

Thanks for the heads up, I copied it from the original list and forgot to remove it! I've edited the post to reflect the actual list
