Post subject:  Help regarding Ork WE
I would like to try a WE heavy formation for my Ork army and have a couple questions that I hope the community can help with.
Firstly, is this even a viable option? I'm thinking a Warband with 3-4 battlefortress/gunfortress. I know the Ork WE are pretty weak, would my BTS get torn to pieces?

What do people count the old GibbletGrinda and SkulHamma as? Are they battlefortresses, or gunfortresses, or can I use them as either?
Can anyone provide a size comparison for the old GibbletGrinda and SkulHamma fortresses compared to the newer ones from E:A?

I think a mob in a battlefortress is a pretty solid option, provided you add the oddboy for the power fields, that way you can leave the boyz mounted up in relative safety to give them a nice big engage range

the problem with huge mobs in battle/gunforts is that you need to get them stuck in, and as they'll be your BTS this can be risky

I've got all the models, lemme sort a pic of all of them for you....

apologies for the crappy lighting, L-R Gibletgrinda, Skullhamma, Battlefortress, Gunfortress with soopagun, Regular Gunfortress

the older vehicles are pretty much exactly the same size as the battlefortress, the gunforts are a tad chunkier

I'll try a few different formations and see if any survive.. :)
