I am going up against the Space Wolves for my first league game this Wednesday, and hoping to get some list / tactics advice here. I don't think he checks this forum. At least I hope not ![]() This is what I was thinking of taking - DEATH COMPANY [300] Chaplain, 4 Assault Death Company Units ASSAULT DETACHMENT [300] 6 Assault Units, Captain ASSAULT DETACHMENT [300] 6 Assault Units, Chaplain PREDATORS [300] 4 Baal Predator DEVASTATOR DETACHMENT [350] 4 Devastators, Blood Angels Hunter, Blood Angels TL Lascannon Razorback DEVASTATOR DETACHMENT [350] 4 Devastators, Blood Angels Hunter, Blood Angels TL Lascannon Razorback LAND SPEEDERS [200] 5 Land Speeder SCOUT DETACHMENT [150] 4 Scouts, Rhinos TACTICAL DETACHMENT [450] 6 Tacticals, Rhinos, Supreme Commander, Land Raider TACTICAL DETACHMENT [300] 6 Tacticals, Rhinos, Blood Angels TL Heavy Bolter Razorback I don't want to disclose too much of my strategy going in to this match, as I don't want to give away too much in case he is watching ![]() |

Yes, the idea is to push the devs forward to create an AA umbrella, however, I failed to mention that I don't think he owns any Thunderhawks. Even if he does, however, I am not too terribly concerned about an air assault on my backfield. I think BA have the mobility to at least contest anywhere on the board. |

It's an obvious suggestion, but make use of your greater vehicle movement where you want to assault. You can happily move to between 30 and 35cm away, in range to assault yourself next turn but not to be assaulted back. |
