I run Eldar but I don´t have Titans ( I don´t like the minis ), but I have to say that they are so powerful I´m unable to counter them (I also have SM, Orks and IG)

I have only two things that I think should be in an eldar army. Void spinners - One of the best artillery pieces for the price in the game. Warlock Titan - the best single assault formation in the game bar none! Phantom. |

I have no idea how to counter a phantom and you can't even just run away as its pretty quick! I hate it, I played a game where the eldar player took one and it single handedly ruined my day destroying anything that came in range. |

If you can't avoid them, the next best thing is to fire *everything* at them... six formations firing at a Phantom (or Warlock, or even two Revennats) will break them, even if you score no hits. Massed fire *will* bring them down, don't let the Holofields fool you... *especially* Revenants, as they don't have reinforced armour, so every attack that gets through the Holofields is damaging. |

6 formations is one hell of a lot of shooting at one unit... maybe i should start taking smaller popcorn units... |

It's a hell of a lot of shooting at one hell of a unit! *laugh* Once it's broken, it's not as much of a threat... and will have 2 Blast markers on it already if/when it rallies. Additionally, six formations firing on it, might actually take it out... at 750-850 points, a Battle Titan is a pretty serious investment for an Eldar army... taking it out will certainly hurt them. |

Nothing in the write-up for Holofields mentions "invulerable save" at all, though it's a common misinterpretation, they just get to make a "special save" vs any attacks. The -1 to saves for crossfire still applies. |

Huh, I certainly haven't noticed that possibility (and have indeed mistaken holofield for "invulnerable"). Might be a good time to start learning crossfire tactics  Let me just add that all Eldar titans are annoying, and Revenants put out ridiculous numbers of MW hits. |

Guard are the best way to combat Eldar, Shadowswords, Deathstrikes & Vultures are constant worries for Eldar Titans. Faced Rug twice in one tournament and Deathstriked his phantom in each game.
