Hello!

Usually I put a normal Warband with two Boyz and Grotz in a Landa for Air assault, and that works very well. But now I am thinking of using a more mobile formation - especially for the Speed Freaks List and the Ghazgkhull List when I want to field an mass-infantry-army, because then I need all my Warbands on the Ground. ( I have 7 of them - there would be two huge and one normal with extra Big Guns)

So this are my ideas:

The Ghazgkull-List:
Here I have 2 options: Kult of Speed and Stormboyz.

1.) Stormboyz: 6 Stormboyz and 4 Bikes: In the assault I try to get all in base-to-base-contact. If this is not possible, then all bikes, and as many stormboyz as there is possible. Because the Bikes should take the first hits with their better armour save. This formation has the advantage, that the Stormboyz can be placed up to 15cm from the Landa, which is pretty much I think. And after the assault: They can use their scout-abillity.
Or would it be better I take two Skorchas instead of the Bikes in the case there are not enough enemy units, so that not all can get in base-to-base?

2.) Kult of Speed: It is possible to load 10 Bikes in the Landa. This variant has the advantage that the formation is tough - all have 5+ armour which is good (for Orks, I am used to 6+ or no Save ;) )
But there is one problem: my Bike-stands are round bases with 30mm diameter - and they can only be placed up tho 5cm from the Landa. So I think, in most cases it is not possible to place all base-to-base because there is not enough space. So I am thinking of fielding 6 Bikes and 2 Skorchas.

The Speed Freaks-List:

The only way here is to field one Kult of Speed or a Big Unit Warbike Outrider - see above

So what do you think is the best way to go?

I usually go for one of each (see PFE100's later battle reports). The Landa with all infantry is good for getting at enemies in rough terrain. The downside is they're not going to move far afterwards. Bikes are also good and have the mobility to go elsewhere after the fight.
