I've been asked if I could do packs with smaller numbers of miniatures in them for the DiD range, is this something you'd like to see.

Infantry, cavalry and bikes would still be in full sprues but vehicles and planes would be in two's or three's instead.

smaller please!

Even half a pack of Novan Elites – Forefront inf is more than I think i'd ever need!

with current packs it costs £68 to buy basic novan elite inf compatible with 'certain rules from third party systems' … of that £68 of inf you need less than half for a regular army at standard points

I'd be more likely to buy them if they came in smaller packs.

But you'd be more likely to get tired of running the store. Don't make like too difficult for yourself.

Yes please! I've been looking at getting some of the Cyber Shadows, but I'd end up with a whole shed-load of surplus minis.

The thing I'd most like to see - a pack of Cybershadows menials, and a pack of Cybershadows Command/Priests.

I didn't think I'd want this till I saw this poll.
I'd say that it is definitely worthwhile, but could be a problem for you unless people are ordering from multiple packs.

For me the infantry is the biggest issue. Of the one infantry pack I've gotten, it was twice what I needed, but I got it because it was the size available.

Yep, I have to agree - and it's really the infantry which are the problem.
I've been trying to find buddies for a couple of cybershaddow packs recently.

Currently almost all of the infantry packs are exactly double what you actually need for a standard unit. In a way that makes it not so bad on the stock keeping front as it offering exactly half packs would work in almost all cases.

The advantage of the range being metal, is that should you end up with surplus miniatures they can always be recycled into new miniatures.

Also Mordakka

Given the very active trades list on the forum, I would feel pants putting quite a lot of surplus minatures
on the Trade list as I would see it as taking business away from such companys like yourself that feed
our hobby.

Well although the pole has only run for less than a day it would seem that smaller packs for the infantry at least are what you guys would like to see.

So as an experiment I will start to change miniature numbers within packs throughout the range to see if this has any effect on sales. As stated reducing infantry packs by 50% would increase my inventory by the same amount. The main problem will be the specialist sets as they are all cast in the same mould so are much harder to break down into individual types as I could end up with loads of certain minis that don't sell so well. But anyway i'll give it a go so keep an eye on the site for these updated packs which will start appearing over the coming week.

Cheers

Yeah I wouldn't try divisions that get too specialised, just halving some of the packs is probably as far as you need to go I would imagine.

Can the casters maybe not plug the mould for the minatures that you don't require to be re stocked ?

@ epic, I doubt they could do that but I can't say for sure.

So as i'm home today i've started reducing packs sizes, i've done all the planes and some vehicles from the skinnerz and elites ranges with a few elite infantry packs adjusted too. More will be done during the rest of the week. Infantry are harder to tinker with but I will get around to all of them eventually.
