I have 48 different Epic miniature auctions currently running on eBay.

These are mostly Tyranid and Eldar vehicles and figures as well as a few Chaos auctions.

Most of these are for a friend who is scrapping together some cash as he is out of work.

Good grief, good bunch.
But only shipping to US (and Canada)?

In the past PG has shipped with no problems, but Ebay doesn't let him enter it effectively.

Good luck with the auctions.

Yes. I thought I PMed you?? After finding an envelope to put it at and determining postage I would have been giving it to you for the price we discussed. :-)

Canada Post is no fun.

You didn't but you should have contacted me.

At the very least I would have told you that your single ebay auction was going to easily cost you two or three times that to ship to Sweden in anything approaching a reasonable time.

Postage from Canada to any Scandinavian country is ridiculously slow or ridiculously expensive.

I can attempt to send the parcel for your via surface mail but it may take three months to get there.

Ah, you supported TRC's words, so there didn't seem to be a need to re-re-check.

Doesn't letter work for Canada?
What is it, 10 plastic stands...

He didn't mention Sweden though did he?

He also didn't mention Spain to which I will also not ship. Not worth the hassle.

I can put it in a padded envelope and send it along if you want.

You could just crush a pile of minis now and save yourself the expense though.

That said, letter rate from Canada is restricted to items no thicker than 2cm.

All this said, I can indeed pack it up and send it to you but it will be in a parcel to ensure it doesn't get crushed and you're either going to have to wait a long time to get it or pay a lot of money.

Not a problem I would suspect if you had won a lot of items but I am not sure if it is worth the hassle for ten stands of Chaos Squats.

Ok ok ok, shall we call it a day then?
Just out of curiosity, what's the ...
Hm, "Small Packet International Air" for 20x10x3 and <=1 kg is ~$2?
Atleast that's what I get, ~14sek when finding a shipment by Canada Post.
PM/e-mail?

Sorry, I thought you wanted to drop this?

Did you read the auction details at all? I do not send eBay auctions without a tracking number.

Shipping method will be Canada Post Expedited Small Parcel (Surface). Due to changes in the Paypal resolution system I will not ship without a tracking number. Insurance Optional.

You can't get a tracking number for Small Parcel air packages.  You can only get it for expedited parcels.

If there is a problem with delivery I need a tracking number to prove to Paypal that I sent the parcel or I am out cash.

I don't want to be out cash on the off chance that the parcel goes astray or the more likely option that someone who picked a cheap and slow shipping option gets tired of waiting and initiates a complaint about me. This has happened three times: twice to Spain and once to Sweden. In all three cases the party in question got their parcels with the three month window I quoted then when they picked their shipping options.

I'm sorry that you read something here and thought that meant I would ship to Sweden but the auction clearly states that I don't as well as clearly states the options for shipping.

Whatever. If you meant to contradict TRC but didn't get that through I'm sorry I didn't get it. Better drop it before you get all upset. Sorry.

This is a heated discussion about a trade conducted on a separate site. I have no authority, but my suggestion is:

Erik M saw a message here. He should have clarified about shipping, but it seems a genuine mistake.

pg has reasonable requirements for shipping to protect himself against experiences that he has already suffered from. He can show leniency by quoting for shipping using his preferred methods and invoice Erik (making an exception to destinations but keeping the shipping method to protect himself), or he can cancel the arrangement. Erik will need to accept the shipping costs as per standard eBay transactions.

This should be fairly simply to sort out, and happens frequently on eBay.

As such, I am closing this thread.
