Bhgs Challenge will this year take place at the UK Games Expo in Birmingham. BHGS has taken over all the running of the miniature games from Expo and will be holding them in the NEC itself. Tickets will be £38 including Expo entry . Team format as last year 3 player teams, 5 x 3k games Teams 1 Richard, Mark W, Steve C 2 Steve, Dave T, ? 3 Mike, Simon, ? 4 Tim, Tom*. ? 5 6 |

Personally I would prefer the 5x3k configuration and the team format, but currently my son is demanding I don't go due to it being the weekend before his birthday... |

The team event went well last year and a 4x4k format gives plenty of time to look at the show so I'd go with this. Accommodation is going to be the big thing again so an easing up on the times will also make life easier for us. |

I managed to sort out accommodation, so i'll be there. Don't have a team organised however, so i'm free if anyone needs an extra player for a team. |

I'd like to come again this year. Accommodation is the killer - even worse than last year it seems. If i can find a friend to kip with i will come along. Teams was fun. Never played 4k competitively so that would be interesting too. Perhaps we can get an Exeter team together... |

Yeah, that train is pretty good. Though Tbh you can taxi it in for not much more (especially in 4s). I really like the team format and would be keen to do that again (especially as with South London disbanded we may not have our annual London derby). In terms of points, why not wait to see how many teams we have and then decide which format works best? |

I agree with Mr Cole. I loved the teams, it had something of the Ryder cup about it.... The Feral Orks are drawing 1/2, 1/2, Steve is playing Richard 0-3, so the pressure is on to break some units in the second turn.... We could also look at a game of Megga if numbers are low as a weird way to finish, though my preference is 3k tournament if we get the numbers. PS definitely recommend staying in center, it was cheap accommodation and easy for food etc. |

Gents we need to get some tickets sold in the near future, the organisers are getting twitchy we haven't got any sold  If we go for 4 games we can't round robin, but guess that doesn't matter really. So a quick yes/no to team event and lets get tickets selling gents

I'll get mine today, consensus here seems to be a team event so we'll go with that and then work out points/games when we have an idea on numbers |
