Hi all. I am running a Minigeddon tournament in Toronto Canada on November 26th and wanted to reach out here in case there are any locals that I don't know. This is a great event for those who haven't played in a long while or would like to learn how to play and I plan to run an escalating series of these tournaments over the winter to help some new players find drive to paint their armies. Hope to see some of you there. All the details can be found on the event page. |

The Facebook event page is really confusing... At first it says you will be using Epic 40k, then it says you will be using Net Epic, then there is a link to the Net EA rules... To top it off, the banner is for Titan Legions! Those are four different rule sets! By the by, are there any Epic 40k players (or those willing to learn it) in the Greater Toronto Area? For the record, that is the game that looks like this: ![]() |

Looking forward to this event and to meeting Epic players in Toronto. I was a bit confused with all the different rule references as well. My understanding: Standard Net Epic Armageddon rules and armies per the Tournament Pack (linked in Facebook). Modifications to those rules based on the Minigeddon link (linked in Facebook). Question: Will we be playing with the 2 optional rules listed in the MINIGEDDON rules link? Specifically: - if there are two or more formations that are the most expensive, then only one will count for the Break Their Spirit objective. This should be decided during the 5 minute warm-up by the player in control of that army or in another mutually agreed way. - Rule "1.6.3 Retaining the Initiative" is not used. This also voids the Eldar Farsight rule entirely. Commander Karth - Yes, I am interested in all variations of 6mm scifi wargaming (ie Epic 40,000) |

That's the conclusion I came to as well, but it took a few read throughs to be certain! Signed up, ready to go - really looking forward to this... ![]() Anyone know if the limitation against the Free Ork Warlord also applies to Speed Freak and Feral lists? I'll assume so, unless someone tells me otherwise. |

Sorry guys! I'm still fairly new to Epic myself. It is indeed using the Tournament Pack (would that be called Net Epic Armageddon?) and some of the confusion is also born out of the fact that people who don't regularly play Epic may only know it as Epic 40k. Also the Minigeddon special rules will be in use also. I'm glad there is excitement for this here and look forward to meeting you guys. |

The game is Epic Armageddon. The NetEA Tournament Pack is a bunch of lists and a handy compiling of the game rules together in a single document. Even if you don't chose to use the NetEA lists, for instance, you're still playing the EA game. So if you happen to be using the Ulani Tank list from EpicUK you're not suddenly playing EpicUK Armageddon. Hopefully that helps make it clear. best of luck on that! |

Great day and a good turnout (8 players plus myself to fill in for one who had to leave early). We played three rounds using a Swiss tournament format and the final scores came to: Garrett (Atension) - 88 Andre (Paradox) - 66 Jahan (JJMicromegas, I played his 2nd and 3rd round) - 60 Paul (Taiaha) - 48 Chris - 44 Mark - 36 Tomas (his first time ever playing Epic) - 28 Alex - 14 Thanks to everyone who came out and we're hoping on running a 2k tournament in January sometime. I took some pictures of the games and will share them here when I get a moment. |

That was a whole pile of fun. It was great to get a good turnout and meet some new players. Nice range of armies, with Nids, Gaz Orks, Speed Freaks, Marines, Steel Legion, DKoK, Necrons and Eldar. Some great painting on display. I had three really enjoyable games, though my army displayed a stunning lack of heroics against the odds... Thanks for organizing VP, looking forward to doing it all again in the new year. |

Awesome time. Thank you VonPlutz for organizing and executing a fantastic tournament (and for the enjoyable game). Had a great time and met 4 players that I didn't know existed. Fantastic!! Great job on the terrain as well. Dueling Grounds is a good central location. Looking forward to doing this again soon. |
