I'll be running four events again this year.

Three one-off games on Saturday (special scenarios optional).

And the Epic Armageddon: Super Terrific Happy Fun Fest (+2) on Sunday. Basically a 7 hour block for whatever people want to do (tourney, mega battle, linked games, etc.)

Registration opens tonight

There are only four games scheduled. 3 on Saturday (2:30, 6pm, & 9pm). Then one on Sunday 9am.

Is this correct?

I am in! Signed up for all four events.


Who is staying where? Two years ago, I drove in from a hotel off site. I don't think I want to do that again. Rooms on site are 30% more than out on town.

Also I would be flying in (international). Any volunteer for a pick up?

Any one in need of a roommate? If I don't get call on to play football tonight or tomorrow, I book the room. Otherwise Thursday I will get one.

Eric and I are at a nearby hotel, I believe Jon is coming out as well and might be staying with us. Karl and Brad are maybes right now too.

What day/time are you getting in?

How friendly will this be to newer players? By the time Adepticon rolls around I'll probably have managed 1-2 full sized games of Epic, and those with another new player (so far we've only played Minigeddon)

Very friendly, I gave a demo to a guy last year for one of the one-off games and helped people through the rules for another.

Unknown. I will buy my plane tickets on delta's black friday sale or after the new year. Delta's black friday sale has tickets starting at 15,000 points.

This will be my first epic game in about 14 months.

Surprisingly this is a great group. Never came across I bad player.

Hubby and I went up to play with largely the same people for NEAT and despite having very little clue as to what we were doing, had a great time with people who were incredibly helpful and friendly. I happily recommend them to new folks. If it doubt, don't worry, just go and have fun. :)

I wish I didn't live in Epic wasteland (soothes self with Star Wars Armada crazies down here)

Delta gave up her sweet ass today. 38k points and 114 bucks. Argentina to Cold Wars, Cold Wars to AdeptiCon, and AdeptiCon back to Argentina.

I get into Chicago Midway on 22Mar at 20:47 and out on the 27th at 18:35
