Hi Folks,

Just thought I ought to let you know I'll be at WMMS show this Sunday 13th doing my 'how to paint small soldiers its not that scary thing'. I'll have on display some Vanguard stuff and if the opportunity arises will paint some during the day. Was at Hammerhead last Saturday doing he same and there was lots of interest in the Vanguard models I had out.

So if you want to see some in the flesh as it were we may see you there.

Mike

good to hear you're spreading the 6mm love :)

we should talk about possible demo/intro games at a future event, might get some more players into the game which is good for everyone!

Always spreadying the 6mm love 8)

Back-to-back weekends especially towards finantial years end has been quite a challenge (and a very high burn on brownie points with SHWMBO!). Again put out the Vanguard Novan Elites I have painted along with a sampler of the Skinners. There was again lots of interest especially with seeing some in the flesh and painted up so to speak. Hope Moredakka is seeing a surge in sales ;D

I still have planned for the rest of the year painting demos at Partizan, The Joy of Six, The Other Partizan, and Derby/Donnington (although I may have a break form this one this year and actuall just go to the show for once).

@ kyussinchains (or anybody else showing interest to put on a demo game) - Sorting out a demo or participation game would be great. I have a degree of familiarity with the organisers of each of the shows if proposals need putting forward or introductions made. The JoS will clearly attract players who already have an interest in 6mm, the other shows are bigger in terms of footfall, and cover a greater cross-section of gamers.

Shame that I wasn't back in time to catch this. I'm currently (only for a little while) just down the 511 from Burton and would love to bump into fellow Epicmans, alas that my visits haven't yet seemed to coincide with any of the local meetings!

@ Doomkitten - Given work and family commitments I don't get out much. For my sins however I have my own sizeable Wargames room. I'll PM you.
