Post subject:  What is the epic uk plate?

Hi, silly question, just looking at the epic uk championship site and I seem to be doing OK on 'the plate' however I have no idea what this is, so before I start bragging about my momentary success can anyone advise (as if it's the epic uk bawbag of the year award I might keep shtum with friends and family).

Basically to contend for the Championship you realistically need to attend 7+ tournaments, for many people this isn't possible. The plate is aimed at people who can attend 3-5 events.
Anybody is eligible for the plate who hasn't finished in the top 5 in the championship in the preceding 3 years.
At each event the top 5 eligible players will recieve 5-4-3-2-1 points.
Players only count there best 4 results plus their GT result
Cumulative points leader gets the trophy.

It worked well last year with 4 people in contention at the GT

Grand, cheers Steve. So a sort of best of the rest/those who can't traverse the nation prize? Great idea.

I always wondered if the plate exists in physical form and if yes where it is on display?
