The Adeptus Ineptus will be running a big battle day at the
Time Machine in
Manchester, CT on
January 18, 2014. We'll be starting at
9:30am and playing one
6k game throughout the day. Currently, we have two teams of six playing six games. We'll be adding up points at the end of the day to see which team won. Here's a rough break down:
- Three tables will play the Epic Tournament Game scenario. These are worth up to 5 points. Every goal you get in the scenario is a table point. E.g. if you win with T&H and Blitz you get 2 points, if you loose with BTS you get 1 point. In the event it goes to VPs the winner gets 1 point, the loser none, assuming they win by 600VPs (10% of 6k). Otherwise no points to anyone.
- Two tables will play the Escalating Engagement scenario. These are worth up to 6 points. Divide the number of VPs you get at the end of turn 5 by 1000 and round up, you get that many table points. So if the winner has 4350VPs, they get 4 table points, and if the looser has 1750VPs they get 2 table points.
- One table will play the Encounter scenario. It will be worth between 7 and 13 table points, depending on which objective counters are drawn. You get a number of points equal to the value of the objective counters you capture. In the event of a tie then no points to anyone.
At the end of the day we'll add up table points, declare a winning team, and have 6 people find a reason to blame one of their own before going home miserable.
