Sounds like a great tournament! Good luck!

PS: Macht mal eins im Neujahr, am besten wenn ich meine Eltern mal wieder in Bayern besuche - dann komm ich rum! :)

Thank you sir!

Around Easter there will hopefully be one. Around New Year I can't comment. Maybe.

Hi there!

Winteroffensive is definietly on the table. As you may have seen, our delegation has already signed in! :)
Good news for me was that the models don't have to be painted, but should (more or less) look like what it is.
I plan to participate with Baran Siegemasters, for which I will use some proxies and scratchbuilds.

-the whole languid artillery and flak will be scratchbuilt but surely identifyable. ;) (Soon when I complete them, will get pics if you wish)
-same will go for the whole fortification; bunkers, gun emplacements, trenches and razorwire. (Although I haven't started them.)
-thudd guns will probably be the most precarious proxy as currently I can only have them another infantry stand with different looking figures or even characters on it, with their stands non-painted also.
-bruennhildes / land crawlers will be funny, as I plan to proxy them with chimeras, but those chimeras haven't arrived yet from my contact, and there is the chanche it will arrive a day before the tournament! So they aren't going to be painted, and I hope they will arrive and the chimera hulls will be enough for stand-in bruennhildes.
-same goes for siegfrieds, but they will have the multilaser on.

I think that's all the issues, everything else is what it is, and already painted. So I came to ask that are the above okay, or do I need to come up with better solutions?
(I could field Armageddon Steel Legion without problem, but I got so much into Baran that better like playing with it.)

Other:
Just a bit of curiosity.
How do you resolve odd number of participants? ::)

So Arty will be ok, fortifications also. Siegfrieds and Bruennhildes would be ok.

Thudd Guns: Do you have a pic? I'd prefer to see a gun on the base rather than Infantry only.

Well, I try to get an even number. I only have one definite cancelation from our pool of players in styria. I got to save this issue.

If there will be odd numbers, I will not participate because I do not like free tickets.

So, tomorow we would be 10 players. I will take photos and do the work-around due to odd numbers. Expect to see many photos.

Was a very nice saturday IMO. Was non-playing orga and have very much fun due to talking crap to all players, answer rule questions and doing the work around. Fine. And praise the emperor: the only one IG player makes it: Commissar Holt with Baran Siegemasters with 17 activations. :D

Yes, it was fun. And brumbär was here to. One german, six austrian and three hungarian players. Hope that this would build up the relationship between austria and hungary like it was ago.

Salute!

Well this was a long journey for the hungarian delegation. Since our driver started from Csongrád (close to south eastern border.) we travelled approx. 600 km to Graz, completing it in 9 hours. But this was definietly worth to go, for a good enjoyable game.
Hehe, I was glad to see those faces checking out how much activations did I muster. :P (Although activation is not everything. Shhh! ;D )

The battles were good, it was interesting to see some different army builds, awesome painted models and TERRAIN!
I'll definietly work on finishing the siegies stuff for the next tourney... which will be... perhaps... at Spring... perhaps... in Budapest...
hmmm, who knows. :D

So thanks for the game, and see you nexttime!
