Heavy Bolter 2013 Epic Tournament When: Saturday November 23rd 9.00am-6.00pm If players could please be there before 9am for set up and admin that would be excellent and help get us underway sooner. Please Bring 6 pieces of "Epic" scale terrain. All efforts will be made to have enough terrain but some may be needed at a push. Where: Next Level Games 6/106 Foster Street Dandenong VIC Cost: $10 per player. This will cover trophies and entry fee (refunds may occur depending on the total cost of trophies versus number of players). Registration (direct deposit required) needs to be in by Wednesday November 13th so trophies etc can be sorted out in time for the tournament. Please PM me for my direct deposit details Armies: 3000 point armies taken from http://www.net-armageddon.org/sites/defaul..._2013-08-07.pdf and any Developmental lists in the NetEA Compendium here: http://www.net-armageddon.org/sites/defaul..._2012-08-09.pdf Armies listed in the 2012 Compendium may have been superceded in the 2013 Tourney Pack update. Please use the latest list available between the two listings. Rules: All core rules will be those in the NetEA Tournament pack listed above. The Imperator Titan/Mega Gargant will not be allowed. Please PM me with your final lists by November 16th. They just need to be basic list structure with formation type and points shown. Tournament set up:Play will be based on the Grand Tournament Set up on pg 98 of the NetEA Tournament pack There will be 3x 2.5 hour games played over the day 1st round beginning approx 9.30am Half hour for lunch at 12pm (There's a bunch of shops and a restaurant nearby) 2nd round at 12.30pm 3rd at 3.00pm If an issue of "out of time" arises at the end of a round, players must attempt to complete an even number of turns between them. If an uneven number of player turns arises, then the count back will be from the previous end phase results. To this end, in the end phase of each turn both players must make note of the objectives captured and victory points for completely destroyed formations only. Tournament Scoring:A Swiss system will be used to determine placings for each round based on your battle points only. 8 points Win 6 points Tie Breaker Win 5 points Dead Heat (after count back on Objectives captured and Victory Points) 4 points Tie breaker Loss 2 points Loss Any countback required will be decided by Objectives captured, followed by Victory points. Sports will be calculated each game but will not impact the placings for each round, only the final standings i.e added to your final score to determine the overall winner. So will equate to a maximum 6 points overall. So scoring gives a maximum of 30 points. Thanks all! |
