Hi UK crowd :-) Life has settled down for me this end and I can now see that there's time for me to organise an event in Bristol this year. Last year we held Westbury Winter Warmer but that venue is now closed and Cut N Thrust Wargaming has gone the same way; this leaves us with the newly opened Vanguard Wargames which I've visited and get's my approval; easier access, parking nearby, very tidy venue and professionaly run. Before I truly get the ball rolling though I need to know that the event is still worth my effort; the format will be 3x3k games, 1 day event (used to run a mega game on day 2, I have decided that it's never been worth the extra work I'm afraid!). The event is run quite succesfully using the EpicUK tournament rule pack which I'm eternally grateful for being able to use. The only difference being is we allow ALL lists be they experimental or approved and this has usually been the lure for most people. THat said there is now a MUCH better spread of races to play using the EuK lists and their use is encouraged :-) Still, I'll be playing Titan Legions for this one! Who's in? End of January is the date to look at. R> |

Potentially yes, but let me speak to brokenbayonet at club on Tuesday, there's been some muttering s about running something down in Exeter. |

It's a way off, but I may be interested. If i came i'd try and bring at least one other along from down here to represent Cornwall (and so we could fight for last place.)
