Hey Guys Just a quick one - i've noticed on Epic UK's Calendar that Open War is pegged for the 9th April, and rather vexingly the Club Challenge is the same weekend, and both are touting Epic as system's they'll be running, so the question is i suppose, who's going to what, and are both counting towards Epic UK's 2011 Championship? |

It's unfortunate but the WPS couldn't find another date when the Students aren't using their rooms  Both are scheduled to be part of the Championship. So its down to your preference of One day vs Two day and whether your part of a club that fancies a tilt at the club shield. |

Both have been warned that we'll get less players than normal - CC has put aside 7 tables for us, OW the usual 10. Next year they hopefully won't clash and the CC will be welcome addition. |

Remember back a few years where the GW GT and WPS CC were back to back? Both got 12+ and they were both 2 day events. I hope both the 1st Cmpy Vets and the WPS understand that numbers may be down for both. Lets face it, have the CC back is a positive thing and now epic gamers have the choice of 1 or 2 day events! |

Tickets are on sale for the Club Challenge. Head over here - http://www.the-wps.com/club-challenge - you must snailmail an entry form however, unlike Britcon, there is an option for paypal payment if you can't find your cheque book! 14 tickets max for Epic this year. |

My form went in the post of the CC today. If you're thinking of entering can I ask you do so as soon as you can. Getting entries in will ensure this event runs, and from the looks of photo's the campus site looks fantastic. Deadline for entry is the 18th Mar so not that much time really. |

Tickets went on sale for Open War yesterday evening. With 40K sold out already I'd suggest any epic players wanting to go to Open War buy their ticket soon or the 40Kers will start to get tables off the other systems! http://www.1stcompanyveterans.net for more details and paypal booking. |

The wps have requested that people planning on entering the CC do so as soon as they can, with the smaller systems like Epic especially. If you are planning on going please get your entry form off ASAP, otherwise there will be no Epic at the CC which would be a shame. http://www.the-wps.com/club-challenge for rules and entry forms. I count 3 epic entries of the CC so far. If we don't reach at least 8 (or maybe 10!) epic will not run. You only have until the 18th of March for your snail mail entry to be received. Enter now or lose Epic at this event this year. You have been warned
