Yes indeedy,
Matt Arnolds grip on Britcon has been broken by Joe Jephison and his Space Marine army ... well done to Joe. Congratulation also goes to Mark Preston for his first tournament placing, 2nd with his Space Marines, well done Mark. Finally the final placing, 3rd, went to Mark Hargrave and his newly painted orks ... fantastic achievement to all the top three; this will really make the final part of the EPIC UK championship season really exciting.
And that's not all; At Britcon there was a combined 'best sportmansman' award for all fantasy and futuristic events (Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40,000, Blood Bowl and EPIC) and Kevin Bott won this using his EPIC Eldar army ... more evidence showing that us EPIC players are the friendliest out of all the futuristic and fantasy bunch.
Finally a big thank you to all who turned up making this years Britcon the best ever ... anyone who didn't go really did miss out!

Right,
Onto 'up and coming events'

I dunno; EPIC displays at Warhammer World, new EPIC tournaments and best sportman awards ... EPIC UK, and its events, are truly fantastic!
I'm off now, back to EPIC UK towers; hopefully I will see some of you at INTO THE BREACH. Until then have fun!
