Hello EPIC Fans!
Yes indeedy London 09 was won by, non-other than David Thomas (can anyone stop him from winning!). It was a great event which saw David Thomas (Space Marines) 1st, Joe Jephson (Orks) 2nd, Mark Hargrave (Imperial Guard) 3rd, Steve Gullick (Chaos: Black Legion) 4th and Mark Williams (Eldar) 5th ... wait a minute! That's a different race in each top 5 positions, fantastic. Tell me of another gaming system with such balance between the armies?
Everyone I spoke to enjoyed themselves thoroughly and all are looking forward to next year!
However it's now time to look forward to the rest of this year ... yes indeedy the next event is the big one ... BRITCON 09! But before we get onto Britcon, let's just have a quick reminder of the EPIC UK Championship!
We are now half way through the year and this year's championship looks closer that ever. With David Thomas' latest victory it looks like it's very close at the top between the front 4 players ... who will win the Championship in 2009? It looks like every point will count (and therefore Britcon's additional 2 points for playing might determine the championship). To find out information about the EPIC UK Championship simply go onto EPIC
UK's website (
www.epic-uk.co.uk) and click on: 'EPIC UK Championship'. There's loads and loads of information and stats that will keep you interested for hours.

not); the payment is done through Paypal.
