Post subject:  Fantasy EpicA - London Tournament
A new thread to try and keep things clean.

The challenge is to predict the top 6 placings at the forthcoming London Tournament.

[EDIT] Placings will be decided using the final tournament placings and will include sports / painting scores as per the tournament rules.

Runners and riders can be found here

2 points for each nominated player actually finishing in the top 6 and an extra 3 bonus points for each one in the correct place (making it 5 for each player correctly named and placed).

Predictions can be made / ?changed until 27th June.

All for fun and bragging rights.

Lists aren't due until the 14th.

For even more fun if you guess blind you can have 3 points per player in the top 6 and 6 points for the correct place. Predictions only accepted until the first player posts a list or Midday on the 14th.

There are a lot of unknowns with this tournament - 20 players, several of which are new to me, and only three rounds.

So here is my go:

With my recent poor performances I can't even fantasize that I'll make the top 6.

I'd hesitate to put me above Joe... we played an entertainingly one-sided game a couple of weeks ago. :D


I'm hoping for 'best painted' again though, I'm prepping a brand new army for the day!

Heck I'd hesitate to put me in the top 6 at all... I just got lucky at FSA!

I'm running a project log on Warseer:

Normally I'm using them with the 'Red Corsairs' army list (Because its more sensibly structured IMHO), but I guess I could do a 'Black Legion' army for the day instead ; I reckon I can have a 3000pts force ready in time, especially if I do something stupid involving 3 'Feral' Warhounds and some Decimators. :D


If I don't have it ready in time, I'll probably be bringing Guard again instead.

I don't think I should put down any predictions on this one as I am organising it - but I will post the races being used if you would like - or not as the case may be.

So far we have quite a mixed bag of the traditional and less usual:-
= 6x Marines (of all types)
= 4x IG (of all types)
= 3x Chaos (of all types)
= 2 Eldar (I will post my list shortly to be fair)
= 2 Orks (of all types)
= 3 "undecided" - who will be reminded shortly to make a choice

As Mephiston says, Lists are due in less than 2 weeks time.
