I'll start this thread so the UK Championship thread can continue un-hijacked ?:D

Right, who wants to play Fantasy EpicA?

The last weekend in May will see the 2 day WPS CC tournament.

Can you predict the Top 6? No prize, just bragging rights for those that can't attend.

Runners and riders can be found here

WPS CC Thread

and here is the army breakdown.

3x Imperial Guard
3x Eldar
2x Black Legion
2x Space Marine
1x Ork
1x Feral Ork

Heres mine

1. Nathan Hoole
2. Tim Hunt
3. Matt Otter
4. Joe Jephson
5. Steve Gullick
6. Andrew Harris

Mostly based on the fact Nathans on a good run with his chaos and Tim never wins the CC, otherwise I would have Tim at 1.

Oh go on then:-

Nathan Hoole ? - as he is on a roll - (sesame seed for preference)
Joe Jephson ? ? - traditional position
Steve Gullick ? ?- BL are OT, but could swap wth Tim when they would be UT
Tim Hunt ? ? ? ? ?- logical deduction
Matt Otter ? ? ? ?- not distracted by organising, umpiring, or playing with stupid armies etc - just a "Stoopid game"
Dave Bartley ? ? - cos he suggested this crazyness

---------------------------
Are you suggesting doing this for each tourni?

I'm happy to do this if people want to play.

May even add something to the web site....

We need a points scoring system to work out who "guessed best".

'X' points for each chosen player who actually finishes in the top 6 and 'Y' bonus points for each of them in the correct place.

I'd suggest,
2 points for each nominated player actually finishing in the top 6 and an extra 3 bonus points for each one in the correct place (making it 5 for each player correctly named and placed).

Unless anyone can think of a better way.

Can't see anywhere on the web were the missing player is posted. I guess we go with the origional 12 and don't count Chris and the mystery player? Unless people want to take a real gamble!

Dave and Joe - are you mad?  Me?

I'll be impressed if I can avoid my traditional "bottom 25%" finish.

Maybe dropping the Warlord would help.......  :/

Nah, you have to keep with tradition Andy - so keep the Warlord, and as a special bonus I will let you have pride of place at the bottom - - - I won't be there to contest it. :D

However, with TRC showing up with his Siegers, I think the prediction has to change slightly:-

Nathan ? ? ? ? ?(as he is on a bun/roll)
Chris ? ? ? ? ? ? (as he needs to prove a point - and I hope JJ sees it)
Joe ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?(pushed out by TRC)
Steve Gullick ?(Still OT)
Tim ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? (Stil U/S - or so he claims and I have not shared his dice before anyone asks)
Matt O ? ? ? ? ? ?(as before)

Dave Bartley gets no points - and servers him right for having the gall to beat me tonight! :p

I think you failing 4 out of 5 activations back to back settled the game really  :confuse:

Right here are the results.

Results with painting and sports included.

1 - David Bartley 12 (3 players 2 correct placings)
=2 - Joe Jephson 9 (3 players 1 correct placing)
=2 - Tim Hunt 9 (3 players 1 correct placing)
4 - Gavin McKenzie 8 (4 players 0 correct placing)
=5 - Chris Hayes 6 (3 players 0 correct placing)
=5 - Dave Thomas 6 (3 players 0 correct placing)

Results without painting and sports

1 - David Bartley 14 (4 players 2 correct placings)
=2 - Chris Hayes 9 (3 players 1 correct placing)
=2 - Tim Hunt 9 (3 players 1 correct placing)
=4 - Joe Jephson (4 players 0 correct placing)
=4 - Gavin McKenzie (4 players 0 correct placing)
6 - Dave Thomas 6 (3 players 0 correct placing)

and before anyone asks I didn't throw my first game to get Andy into the top 6  :p , my dice did that for me  :confuse:
