Gday all, This has been posted on a couple of other forums as well, so I apologize if you keep seeing it  . Ive been thinking for some time about the idea of an Epic Tourney maybe in Sydney or down here in Wollongong (yep, that city of corruption...).
My first thoughts are is there any real interest, by this I mean are people willing to travel and participate. One of the thoughts was to try to arrange it for something like MOAB or even Cancon, but I wonder whether many of the people who might play would head off to other games like 40K, Fantasy or FOW.
My other thought is to run it at a local hall near my place down here in the gong and to have people come down on a weekend that isnt a convention weekend. This then leads to the thoughts of would people be willing to travel?
So I guess what I'd like on here is:
[1] some ideas about whether there would be any interest from the Epic players of Sydney?
[2] what there thoughts might be in regards to at a Con or away?
[3] How being at a con might affect whether they play an Epic tourney?
[4] Would they be willing to travel? And if so, how far?
Just remember, Im only fact finding ATM, so theres no dates or costs or organisation.
Any other ideas that you have would be appreciated
