Well, Another excellent tournament to finish off 2007. 18 players battled it out to claim first place; however the defending GT winner, Tim Hunt, managed to take first place with the narrowest of margins (1pt!). Well done to Matt for another great tournament and to Tim,Steve and Rob for winning the tournament,most sporting and best painted respectively. It looked as though everyone had a great 2 days and hopefully all the new players will be coming back next year. The standard of painting seems to be getting higher and higher,there were 8 armies which I couldn't split for best painted so had to ?roll a d8 to decide for me.Same for the most sporting I had to dice for it. Add 60 to my score? nice one dave ?  More Matt more. I agree surely we could fit in a winter war tournament , maybe to even try out a few new lists. |

Impressive number of epic players. It probably won't do any good, but I'd mention it on the SG forum that you had 18 participants. |
