Nice mix, I would have liked to have seen more chaos (just for inspiration's sake, got a bunch of chaos bits I'm hoarding for the next project :)) but eh, I'm good with that!

Hmm.. Submitted my list before hitting the sack last night. Was the same one I had initially planned on Friday already....

So I am a tournament noob, and have only played 3 x 3000k games. I have played a number of minigeddons though.

Steve, as a matter of interest, how many tournament noobs are there?

Also, is anyone planning on stopping over and if so where?

I am currently planning on driving back to York after the curry, but that means 1 beer at best, and I like beer ;)

Will bring loads of mountains, a woods and a new rubble scene I am currently building.

Feeling rather excited even if I am rather scared of getting a whipping :)

See you guys then

I wouldn't worry, as long as you learn something from your defeats and enjoy the game it's all good!

I'm a tournament noob too, despite playing GW stuff for 20 years I have never played a single tournament, I've also only played half a dozen games so we can vie to avoid last place together.... ;)

It sounds like there will be a fair number of us vying to avoid that spot :)

I may be stopping over pending on what's happening Sunday - as to where, i'd reccommend the Pine Lodge in Mansfield if you can get a place there, and they do some fairly reasonably priced single rooms. The Travel Lodge in mansfield isn't too bad as well if you're driving, pretty basic but when i was up there a few weeks ago it was at least clean and the room was warm, so can't complain too much really, and lack of any kind of food is somewhat offset by a tesco across the carpark, although bizarrely enough they only have 'family rooms' it seems, which bascially consists of a double bed and a sofa bed.

utter tourney noob, popping my tourney cherry with FSA... would consider myself a noob to EA still too, I've only ever played vs Mephiston and at a guess, that's got to be somewhere in the region of under 10 games.. think I'm finally beginning to wrap my head around EA's intricacies :D expecting nothing more than getting a complete and utter pasting at the hands of my contemporaries but looking forward to it all the same :)

Pine lodge is the best place to stay, although I do sometimes stay at other places depending on available cash or wanting somewhere quiet to finish off some work.

I predict three draws for you AH ;)
