Looks like the rulespack will stay the same for this year. Taking this into account (and the price) I don't think I shall be attending.

I hope to pop in on Saturday afternoon / evening for a few drinks and a chat!

I'm going, even with my concerns over game and set up time, it just forces me to take my white scars.

The scoring system doesnt really bother me that much and at the end of the day its another six games of epic.

Just hope the foods better this year.

Ticket is paid for but hasn't arrived yet.

Was this before they did the canteen style food? The last few times i've been to WHW the foods been fine.

After some Debate i've decided to go to this one. I couldn't make it to Britcon unfortunately so I'll Treat myself with this. Like Jo the ticket's paid for but not yet arrived. Like Jo I'll be bringing Space Marines, not orks. Like Dave, I think the food at WHW is fine.

The food at last years GW GT was substantially worse than any other event at WHWorld - I think the people who went to the GT and the CC the next week said the food at the CC was incomparable.

At the GT there were feedback sheets - I believe all the epic players complained about the food

Whens the deadline? I have no idea what I'm up to and no chance of Britcon now my wife is scheduled to fly that weekend (could it be deliberately?...). Equally its a pricey business so I'm just not sure...

hmmm, It never occured to me that the tournament organisers would have a say in what food the canteen served. I wonder if it's the same for all other GW organised tournaments, 40K, Warhammer etc..

You are getting 3 meals included in the price so it's not that bad. However if the food is as bad this year as Steve said it was last year, you might not consider it value.

Nick, I'm going. But I'm only staying for one night. The idea is to do what I did for Open War earlier in the year, and razz up the m1 first thing on the Sat morning. I was shattered by my 3rd game on sat - I hope to get more sleep before hand this time! If that doesn't sound too odious I can take you up.

I haven't sorted accomodation yet but I'm considering a b&b just sw of nottingham. I usually do a search on Google maps for this sort of thing.

I dunno if Gavin is considering to this one. Possibly not since he's doing Britcon. Gavin?
