I've had a discussion with the Expo team and we will be running a 3 player team tournament along the lines of the 2015 Euros. Tickets should be on sale soon via the Expo site.

When entering please PM me, or email tournaments @ epic-uk.co.uk with who you want to be teamed with. Single entrants and pairs will be randomly allocated teammates.

Looks like we'll have a team from South London as well, and i'm trying to get some interest from the guys over in Guildford too

Scotland are definitely in though we expect our performance to be more Culloden than Bannockburn.

Central London are also looking at sending a team.

I'm hoping to be able to enter this (already have a ticket for the expo.) Just trying to get accommodation sorted - seems to have trebled in cost from last year... :-(

We're staying at the Premier Inn down the road, as the cost for the Hilton this year was just stupid. The Expo is primarily being held in the NEC itself this year mind you, so makes it less of a big deal not being there imo.

Ha! We were cheapskates in the premier last year already ! :-)

I'm trying not to get involved (just tell me where to send the money) but I'm hearing from the guy doing the booking that a room in the premier was about £70each for thurs/fri/sat last year and is over £200 this year? Does that sound right to you?

Coming in at the moment at around £111 a night, so it's pretty much doubled in cost since i booked rooms back at the beginning of January. Still a damn site cheaper than the Hilton though!

Jesus, looks like I'll be air bnbing in brum proper.

Well the city centre is ten minutes away by train so could be worth staying in town. Plus better curry options!!!!
