It still works, although the link is uglier.  I'll email Dave Taylor and let him know.  Thanks!

FYI we've got 5 slots still to fill.

FYI I got an email from Dave Taylor who hooked me up with the new link to the Games Day Epic tournament.
Check it out here.

Jinx, thanks for the update!

Awesomeness ... looking forward to it! Moscovian, got your email, will reply if I have any progress toward that. So do we have enough players now to definately run the tournie? What happens if you get an odd number of players?

You might mention that it is actually Epic: Armageddon not Epic 40K for the title. Not a big deal but best be right about it!

Just currently torn between tarting up my Epic army and working on my GD entries. There's just not enough time!

An odd number of people will stink. ?One way to handle that is just tell the last person who registered that they will be unable to play. ?Another is for me to duck out and merely run the tournament but for obvious reasons I would like to avoid that. ?Fortunately there is only a 50/50 chance of that happening. :p

We have 7 right now with over 3 weeks to go.  I think we'll get at least 8 people and hopefully 10 or 12.

I don't know that I'll be able to make it, but I'm curious about the "order counters" in "What to Bring."

We use Space Marine "Fall Back" & "First Fire" order markers for Broken and Overwatch, but we don't mark anything else.  What type of order markers would a person have to bring?

Some people like to play with counters that showed what action the formation took.  It really isn't necessary I suppose, but it certainly helps in a tournament to know for certain which formations marched, which ones were given overwatch orders, etc.  It avoids arguments over silly things.

In the UK, tournament players also use markers to indicate that the formation has activated - as Hena says, OW, March are important as well. If you use the BFG order dice, you can also use the remaining dice to keep track of the number of remaining activations on both sides etc

:D  the Order Dice were introduced for Epic 40,000 (or 3rd ed). they were re-introduced along with the Firepower table. Some systems just need the right setting to gain the audience i guess...  :;):

Regardless, the Order Dice work really well for EA along with a product from GF9:

11140   GF9 Game Accessories Pack #04 - Move / Shoot / Speed .

these handy little chevron-shaped counters help keep track of advances, doubles and sustained fire very neatly while the Order Dice do the rest. (for me at least).

I never kill Moscovian without them!  :p

So who, other than Moscovian and myself, is going from these boards?

Corey is showing up.  Toadchild hasn't been out here much lately but he'll be there with a friend of his.  I think that is from this board, unfortunately.  I tried getting a hold of Ilushia since I know he lives down there but to no avail.
