We started late due to too much excited Epic talk, then we talked more about Epic during turn 1 and i messed up so many new Necron rules that then led to more talking about Epic.
Meanwhile, Nick arrived to spectate which led to more excited talk about Epic. Oh yeah, and lots of drinking.

On a more serious note, I thought i am prepared for the first game with the new army, having read the codex 5bazillion times but boy was i not prepared, hehe
Also need counters to remind me about Phase Out.

I swear it will get better with each game though

Ok Played my first game with Radek last night. 3-0 in turn 4 to me.

Carlos and his nids next... Those big barrages will come in handy ;-)

And in our game we only completed one turn so agreed not to submit a result but to reschedule for a Sunday in the near future.

BTW per the below it seems you must reanimate (part of step 2) before rallying (step 3). The reanimation rules didn't say much so we allowed reanimation after rallying (benefitting the necrons) but that was wrong.

FAQ for the end phase says:
Q: What is the order of events that happen in the End Phase?
A: If alternating, the player with the higher strategy rating chooses who will go first.
1. Aircraft make disengagement moves (simultaneous)
2. Resolve critical hit and other end of turn effects (alternate)
3. Rally (alternate)
4. Remove daemons (simultaneous)
5. Check victory conditions (depends on scenario)

New army slowness, hehe
We stopped at one point and agreed on a reschedule.

All those entrenchments and hordes of puny guardsmen take forever to set up, hehe

Though i do get better with the 'Crons. Me thinks, hehe
