and Austria wouldn't qualify ;D

touché ;D

Austrian team has 1 definite, 2 very interested, and one lacking.

I definitely want to come - even as part of an international team!

oh and I don't really mind 4 UK teams, I was just pulling your leg :)

This would still only work if there were only four teams in the World Cup...

And even then it would go to penalties...

Steve i've paid already. I sent you a PM indicating that on the 17th.

*edit: wait, does red mean has committed or has not committed … red is normally bad? I sent the money to the address either way.

Deadline expired on Saturday so Reedar is now in the teams. To keep juggling to minimum he'll join Team 'North' with Mike going to Team UK

guys have a look at the ETC site http://www.etc-events.com/

they have only this year done some serious work on formalising teams/nationalities - copies of passports as proof + % of players must be from the country they represent. - why because of the level of competition and countries sending their "b" team as team san marino or team Liechtenstein as its a great event.

epic is not near as popular as the games played at the ETC, why not have these UK south / uk north teams go under a countrys banner, wales scotland and so on ?

I don't see the problem with what we have? Much less why we would want to play as Wales when none of us is Welsh or lives in Wales? It also isn't a country so North vs South is just as valid surely?

so have a team England then? its just an idea so if this event picks up, you dont have uk north, south, east, west etc and other countries saying screw that we are outnumbered why bother...

Why not bring an Irish team over?

The UK entering multiple teams is because we have loads of people wanting to participate and refusing them would turn people off in future.... I'd assume going forward that any host nation would probably be able to enter multiple teams as it's not as much of a cost issue like flights and hotels and transport....

Presumably if Team France wanted to bring 2 teams they could?
