I'd only do it if people prepay. No point in being out of pocket just because someone overspends at the Forge World booth.

And you *know* it will happen :-)

I also agree about the tournament armies - I would make a simple webpage (geocities would do!) with a description of each list, where it's at and a link to the list. It would also be good to make a list of those additional armies as and when you know. For example, I'll be bringing Grey Knights. It would be really good if people preparing for the tournie would be prepared to meet them! That way you can ask them to link to your page on the tournament listing and then you can update your page as and when you need to.

Good idea. Something like a wiki page... Now, if only we had one of those...!  :p

I would be quite cautious about even a limited print run of these. At this point, you are taking money (even if only to cover costs) on a product based on GWs IP - Necrons, Dark Eldar, etc are all trade marks. It may be an idea to contact GWs legal team - something along the lines of 'here is what I plan, I will be doing this in three weeks, please let me know by this date if there are any problems with this plan'. A couple of 'display copies' at GD would be great, though.

If you do have a print run, a 'maximum estimate' with additional proceeds to a cancer charity would be an excellent idea.

I'm going to use my recent contacts within GW-US to see if I can get that done.  Dave and/or Lance should be able to direct me appropriately and given the air of cooperation these days the timing is good.  I hope that making the transactions transparent and me coming to them with the information will help things along.  You tack on helping a nonprofit organization like the American / British Cancer Society and this may just work.

Bell of Lost Souls website/club published an apocalypse campaign book about the Horus Heresy.  They called it Warhammer 30,000 and it included all the founding chapters of marine.  I'd check with them maybe to see how they got it printed.  Apparently the GW staff were impressed and the club didnt get in trouble that I know of.

So are Grey Knights balanced?

Yeah, I think so. Or at least, I don't think they're overpowered - there are some units where I've erred on the side of caution perhaps. However, the list has been playtested for ~4 years now in various forms and I'm pretty confident about it.

There are a few changes I want to make and a couple of units (assassins and drop fortresses) that could do with a look at, I'll have an updated version up very soon.

I'd certainly like to see how they perform when stress-tested in a tournament!
