This page shows how each race has done against all other this year.

Thanks, I'll run up some percentage-based figures off of that page for fun.

Now One thing I have done is score all victory point games as draws (ie if no one wins on goals I've considered it a draw). Now if that is a wrong assumption on my part it won't be too hard to fix. and change points wins to wins.

I don't think victory point wins should be "draws", as there can still be significant differences and/or blowouts that way... a VP win, is still a win.

Should only be a draw if less that, say, 250 VPs seperate the win.

It's humourous to me that Orks have never fought Orks in all these Tournies!

Personally I consider going down to VPs to be a draw. If you have more VPs then it's a moral victory maybe, but the game isn't about destroying each others armies - that's just a consequence of the real point of the game: goals.

Having said that, of course most tournaments do factor in VP differences in draws in their standings tables.

There was only multiple (2) ork armies at half the tournaments. So that was 14 possible match ups across the year.

Though some marine armies have reavers now. Also they tend to high acivation.

For next year do you think it would be possible to have each players army list added, either by the player or posted here to be copied in or emailed by Matt etc?

It should be possible if I'm given the info. If everyone just hands me or matt a copy of their roster before the end of the tournament would be best.

I asked, he doesn't keep them.

Right I've added my lists and some of the lists I have from other players. If you look at each tournaments page you will see links to peoples lists.

If people want to post, pm or email me lists used this year I'll add them in.

So any changes planned for format next year?

What would have been the difference in rankings if it was done 3 for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss (per game) x for a different army? This would reward those who played in 2 day events.

A quick look at the tables puts Dave on 64 (15 wins, 4 draws, 1 loss, 4 different armies) with 5 for each new army. Me on 48 (11 wins, 2 draws, 3 loss 4 different armies), Matt O 48 (11 w, 5 d, 7l 3 diff armies), Matt A 63 (12w, 8d, 3l 4 armies).

Any other systems? I think the variety clause is most important, just so we don't see the same armies every tourney! (And with just the GW ones now we have 10, I reckon there should be at least enough for someone to go to every tourney with a new army :) )

In case anyones wondering the other vote may be influenced by 16 wins, 9 draws, 6 loses and 4 armies, so 69 points :)

Biggest downside is it rewards though who simply play in lots of tourneys as opposed to win them.

Still any other systems people can think of? As complex as you like. Maybe could be the above scoring system with a fixed 15 points for the 5 games for coming first etc etc.

All added. As to changes to the scoring system - I'll vote for no change. That way I don't need to tinker with the code again  :p

I guess we need to see what Ginger thinks. It may be time for a vote.

Also remember, this is just for fun

Tiny Tim has supplied all his tournament lists this year so they can be seen on the site.

As there is plenty of space below the list should any one want to add any design thoughts or brief battle outcomes I'll add them.
