Well, every now and then i do something crazy like trying to land one in a wood, and of course in a few occasions a branch did end up going through the windscreen... That'll teach me for trying to touch down in a non approved landing zone i guess

Reading all the build up is making me gutted I had to pull out, but good luck to you all ! I'll be there, probably Friday, def sat and sun morning at least, so I'll swing by and cheer on team UK South ( and probably contribute as many points that way my playing would have done ! :-) )

Steve mentioned an evening meal? Is that Friday? If so I might sneak in on that if no one minds? Perhaps I'll also bring an army with me if there's a hint of possible evening games ?

Ps. I'll be with a bunch of my game-club mates on Sat, so if you can all make a point of telling them what an great time you're having and how great epic is (especially better than infinity) that'd be appreciated ! ;-p

Army Forge List Co-ordinator

I'm still going... last night I reached the 'which bits can I get away with not doing' stage...

Got some detailing and basing still to go as things stand. Have sacrificed tonight though in favour of a warm-up game with the list!

Did the last base edge yesterday. Checking for missed spots today, in the daylight, but otherwise good to go

I discovered the backpack I wanted to carry my half-case in was large enough to hold the case, but the opening to the bag wasn't big enough to fit the case through. Having taken a pair of scissors to the backpack the case now fits in! … i'm just not sure how easy it will be to get it out again.

Well I have just finished a new formation and tarted up the rest of the army to a more acceptable level - not that having a smart paint job will have any effect on my abilities

Sadly my army is old and an absolute pig. If I had thought more about it from the perspective of a showcase for Epic I definitely would have taken the Tau instead (which are slightly less embarrassing and there won't be any others with Tau there). My apologies for that.
