Just to highlight one of the bits on Steve's starting e-mail, hotel rooms at the Hilton are limited numbers wise at the prices shown, and if you do want to stay there i'd highly recommend getting them booked as soon as possible as the non-discounted prices can get VERY expensive. There are a number of other hotels nearby, but definitely not as convenient as most you'd have to drive to the venue or take a taxi.

Speaking for me personally I won't know if I can make it before I know when I will have my exams, which I won't know until early next year. The swedes are also planning on selecting their team early next year. Should I(we) plan on staying in other hotels?

You might be ok, i only highlight it because last year i left it too late and ended up at a different hotel. Was still fine overall, but it's preferable to be in the hilton if you can manage it!

Teams update
Germany - Definite, holding a qualification tournament. 1 maybe 2 teams
Sweden - Definite, holding a qualification tournament
UK - Definite, team selected.
Austria - team looking likely
Norway - possible, assessing in January
Hungary - possible, assessing in January
France - no response as yet

Ginger has suggested that USA, Canada, Australia might be interested. If anybody is interested in coming over learning to play Epic from the Europeans that would be great ;D

If US, Canada Aus are struggling could they combine to form an UBER-new countries team?

Don't think you'll see much in the way of Siege Masters, not a particularly popular army in the UK due to being a. about as exciting to play with and against as watching paint dry, and b. not great in the E-UK scoring system given it's tendency to end up with draws!

Also, Krieg might not be so popular if they do get a bit of comping in the current review being considered. Tbh generally speaking i don't think you can really beat bog standard Steel Legion - lots of flexibility, and offers a number of interesting ways to play :)

Those countries could combine to form a "no longer colonies" team coming back to the UK to give their former 'masters' a good kicking!
