We've been offered October the 8th for this.

Timing could be anywhere from midday until late...

...who's interested?

I'm afraid that it's too late for me now, can't do Call to Arms and ten days later head off to London during a school day. My missus would have my ***** for breakfast.

Pity I was looking forward to it as well.

Depending on the 8th's suitability for people, we may end up back on a Week-end instead...

Just be careful that you don't crash Open War 10 in the 18th November.

If I am in the country - yes! (planning more than a month in advance is sadly impossible).

Holidays have become a bit short so I probably can't make a weekday.

hey guys

i'd love to get involved in this, but my army is still only half completed and having just finished Uni and looking for a job I've no idea if I'd be available or have a finished army in all the moving, applying, settling in...

does this sort of thing happen often?

Not particularly so!

There are plenty of tournaments, but it's rare for GW to sponsor one.

Shame, sorry i can't make up the numbers on this one.  I've never played a game of Epic before though so I'd just slow everyone down!

As soon as the army is up and running I'll get on the tournament scene asap.

If you want a game and a gentle introduction there's plenty of people in the London area who can help you out. E&C for one. And there's a couple of clubs with regular epic players too. Myself, I live in the sticks in West Surrey but I pop down to the club in Euston on occasion.

Its a very small club - tricky to get a table. The Cock tavern seems to have the most space currently, but its not possible anymore to turn up and find an opponent (have to organise one first!).

Just give us a yell here and it can be arranged Tuesday nights,  upstairs in the Cock Tavern, Phoenix street (3 mins walk behind Euston station).
Here's a map
