Tickets for Open War 8 on the 25th August are out now!

It's a one day 3,000pt (legal lists only) EPIC event.

I'm coming, as well as two other Epic Players.... and this time I've pulled a team together as well. Since in all our last showings we've come last, I'm hoping for improvement this time.

So that's three epica players.

If I can be bothered to buy some minis off ebay I might try bring a LatD army this time.

Their should be 3 of us from Rotherham/Sheffield coming down too.

Matt O,Scott B and Mark W. (plus others) are all gaming regularly at WW on thursdays and most should be coming along .

If Joe,Tim and a few of the other regulars manage to make it the should be a good turnout (hopefully around 16) .

As ever a tank heavy marine force with no flyers or titans would be fine  :p

Although I expect you'd manage to do quite well anyway  :D

Hmmm only really have Land Raiders and whirlwinds, would need some predators before I could do that type of army.

Anyway have just increased my number of Skorchas ?:devil: and Buggies so might be playing orks again.

I've just read the rules pack and LatD isn't on the allowed list...

Is there an object to it? I've only used it twice... if it's broken then I won't bother, but if no one minds I might ask to be allowed to bring it.

Can't see why its not allowed, its official after all.

Post on the 1st cpy vets forum, you may get a reply but Andy used to let the Epic community self police itself.

It does say published lists are allowed. LatD is published so you can use them. I think that the rules pack just needs updating.

I'll happily play against them.

Our group is at WW on Thursday at the Vets evening, I'll ask if theres any chance of having conformation of the lists allowed.

I know Andy's not running open war this time but Scott B is helping organize this one .
