I have already booked accommodation, sent in my army list for Dark Eldar, and now I have to work out how to best use the army. With the kalabite warriors only having a 15cm range for their main weapon, and dark eldar getting the fleet of foot rule, it looks like I will just keep 2 formations on the Blitz, and everything else will be systematically wiping the enemy from the table. Ganging up and overwhelming opponents in one area. moving on, then dong the same again. I will probably try to reinforce my Blitz if needed, but most of the game will involve trying to get Break their spirit and Blitzkrieg, and generally wipe out the enemy from the table. With this, I should be able to also get either Take and hold or they shall not pass as well.

I do not think trying to hold all the objectives on my side of the table will work for the Dark Eldar. They can not garrison, they have units that move really fast, can either FF or CC really well, and they get killed off just as easily. So numbers in one area is the key. Hopefully I will have enough left over to move, redeploy and keep hitting the enemy hard without taking too many casualties. Make them react, not me.

I will also be going to Newcastle for Castle assault - hopefully.

6mm wargaming is just like 25mm wargaming with more units fitting on the same size table. Thus bigger games to get lost in and avoid the hassles of everyday living, and offerings for the dice gods.
