Glad to hear it was a success!

Looking forward to hearing some reports.

GW was very excited to have us run the event and provided a great deal of space in the tournament area. They provided the boards, trophies and swag which was far more than we expected, but made playing very exciting for all of us.

It was great seeing the long-time staff again, talking with them throughout the day, and catching up for drinks later. The best news was being asked to start planning for next year!

Bill got to meet Jervis in person for the first time and he was happy to take a break to see what we (Tactical Command) have been up to. Raiders was looked at with surprise and admiration with the effort Bill and everyone involved put in.

For my own part Jervis ok'ed me using the name Demiurg as GW will not be developing the Dwarven-Archetype in the forseeable future. ?:D

Here are shots of each of the boards we put together, happily the terrain Moscovian and I brought was enough...

Board One: The Canyons of Death

Board Two: CityFight!

Board Three: Ice Plains

Board Four: A Tribute to Titan Legions

Board Five: The Ruined City

Lastly, here's a pic of the guy you can all blame Raiders and the Baltimore 2008 Tourney on, the one that follows is his partner in crime! I think you will all recognize the tall gentleman.

Moscovian and Jervis

Jervis (again, we were shameless!) and I

My personal thanks to our fellow players, whom without their participation and sportsmanship, the event would have been much less fulfilling; Corey (Necrons), Eoin (Daemonhunters), Jonathan (Chaos), Robert (Orks), Jonathan (Eldar), Ryan (Minervans), Dave (Imperial Guard) and Aaron (Space Marines). It was a pleasure to see many of you again, as well as meeting many new players. ?

Nice tables. Congrats all around to the organizers and its nice to see GW support the game in a large tournament like this.

Any photos of the games?

lot and lots, but we need to organize them in a presentable format! ?:D

Here's a shot of the Necrons as they Teleported into the teeth of the Demiurg in Game one, Turn One:

And the Dark Eldar assault their kin at the edge of the city:

I think that would be a good idea. Maybe Moscovian could start it with the tournament results!

Mosc and I are catching up with our families today, but we will get it together and post the details and highlights in a new thread.

Jervis was presented with a copy of Raiders.  He was pleased.

Excellent.
