Yes, it was possible that you could have been beaten....in theory. Although I have doubts about the likelyhood in games. Anyhow, this was my armylist.

Ultramarines 4th battle company, orbital attack formation.

200 Strike Crusier 'Xenophobe'
250 Devestators - drop pods
250 Devestators - drop pods

375 Terminators (incl Chaplain)

225 Assault Marines (incl Chaplain)
175 Assault Marines
200 Thunderhawk Gunship 'Tiberius'

400 Tactical Marines (incl dreadnought and Libarian)
200 Thunderhawk Gunship 'Ross' Revenge'

325 Terminators
200 Thunderhawk Gunship 'Thekla'

200 Landspeeders

By the list LordI has just put up I'd be 60 over

+10 for each oblit = 30
+5 for each raptor = 35
-5 as list came to 2995 before.

Not sure what I would do - probably drop either the Chosen or the rhino-retinue, add a forlorn hope, put pacts with them and add a defiler to a retinue. I've also been toying with dropping a feral for a spaceship.

I was thinking +25 per Feral, but I just realized LordI didn't include that...
