Hi everyone,

I'm looking to try and make a faction for ( mostly ) brigades neosoviet models as they're very nice and surprisingly cheap...
My progress on my neosov so far: ( plus some infantry )

First idea:

Medium Tank with cannon ( Vehicle ) - Bizon
Speed: 25cm
Armour: 4+
Close Combat: 6+
Firefight: 5+
Main Cannon: 45cm AP5+/AT4+
Machine Gun: 2x 30cm AP6+

Does that sound reasonable?
Maybe around 600-700 for the 12?

Thanks Legion 4, seems strange epic doesn't really have a faction with a medium tank company ( or even mbt's )
Only close is the leman russes but they're more heavy tanks?

This one is more like a Baneblade Light: ( Less weapons and Hits )
Heavy with double heavy cannon ( War Engine ) - Mammont
Speed: 15cm
Armour: 4+
Close Combat: 6+
Firefight: 4+
Heavy Cannon: 75cm AP3+/AT3+
Heavy Cannon: 75cm AP3+/AT3+
Machine Gun: 2x 30cm AP6+
Damage Capacity 2, Reinforced Armour.

700 - 750 for 12 sounds good. They lack the AT punch of the closest analog to the Leman Russ but there's more of them :D Perhaps addition of TRA?

The Leman Russ is basically a MBT. There are heavy tanks in 40/EA such as the Malcador and Land Raider. Either way, the EA rules don't well represent them so not really too much a worry.

I'm thinking if i strip things back a tiny bit from steel legion eqv and add a few in the detachment hopefully it wont be too out from the original points?

700 for 12 Tanks then?
250 for extra 4 or straight extra platoon. ( a little more expensive )

For the Dakkatank 225 for 4? Loses its Main advantage of AT?

Maybe 150 for 3 of the heavy tanks? Lose a damage point from a baneblade and some of the minor weapons but get extra main gun?
60 Each?

Some nice work on those Russkies ! The one there reminds me of a real Russian WWII tank, the KV1 ...

But I agree with JZ, the Leman Russ is an MBT as is the Predator, IMO ...

Legion 4, I always liked the KV2 more cos it looked funny :D

Nice stuff ! Yes, the KV2's turret looked too big. Because it had to be to house that 152mm.

The GW Epic Ragnarok DKoK MBT looks somewhat like it ... [horrible paint on these I found on eBay ! :o ]

Didnt they house a normal artillery piece in it or something?
I love the ragnarok but unfortunately im poor...

The Brigade stuff is daft cheap compared to other companies and still nice casts.

Yes, the KV-2 had a 152mm cannon ... So yes, it was a BIG Gun ! ;D

And yes, Most Epic stuff is pretty expensive these days ... :( But I've got all I need ! :D
