Hi all

I just got a bargain bag-o-squats!
What am i to do with em?
What list should i use if i am to be using them in tournaments?

Any advice is greatly appreciated

I really have not got a clue when it comes the these lil guys

I to have recently acquired a bargain squat army. So far I've played only a couple of games with them using the Thurgrimms list. I'd recommend this as a starting point.

So what did you get & what size army are you going for?

If you want to use them in tournaments, it is probably best if you use an established list and use the stunty guys as proxied. Imperial Guard is the usual list to use, although technically you could use the Marine (Drop Pods become Moles and Termites, etc) or Chaos list. If only there was a way to use the Tyranid list for a bit of justice!

How about lost and damned for nids
the gaunts proxy for mutants (homagaunt) and militia (termies) hive tyurants for demon princes, warriors as big mutants, dactylis as the plague mortors etc.

The Thurgrimm list and Demiurg list are both great starting points.  Jaldon and ePilgrim consulted with each other to have the lists match on fundamental levels.  The Demiurg is -in a sense- a variant of Thurgrimms, or vice versa.

I'll be putting out some reading-friendly pdfs for both of them around mid-May and we're using these lists as a spring board for a new fan-built Epic supplement which will feature the Squats, Tyranids, and Inquisition.

It's a dog-eat-dog world, and I've got my Milkbone underwear on.

I don't know i really didn't know what to expect when i traded these.
I have no idea as to what is what apart from there are thud guns and guild bikers.
I'm pretty much trying to get a few armies together so i can play epic without the usual 'i don't have an army' response. so to that end i have been sourcing armies and trying to put em together.
so far its:

Orks (my main army)
Eldar
Space Marines
Feral orks
Tyranids
and now Squats.
