I like this one. It is better than mine and represents stubborn very well IMO

Thank you for clarifying which rule you preferred. Keep in mind that this and another variation on it were listed as potential ideas at the beginning of the thread.

As for how it works I suggest you play an Ork player and a IG player and get their reactions.

I like this one. It is better than mine and represents stubborn very well IMO

I like it too, especially if combined with ignoring the -1 for enemy proximity for rallying.

I will be re-reviewing my notes and considering how to move forward with the use of the special rule "Stubborn".

At present please consider "Stubborn" as follows:

SPECIAL RULE
The following Special Rule applies to all Squat/Demiurg fomations.

Stubborn - Troops with this special ability rally quicker then other troops to get back into the fight. They ignore the -1 modifier for enemy formations with 30cm during the Rally phase.

Like I have mentioned before, the Stubborn rule will effect other lists in production in the future. It is not unreasonable to think that units such as Plague Marines may adopt the rule in the future with the right ruling, hence it is important that we get it right for the entire game rules, and not just the Squats. There is no point in having multiple Stubborn rules.
