No problem Bissler.
When I play bigger battles 15K+ the battlefield gets crowded very easily.
Now my room was always limited, so most of my battlefield were not longer than 3m
now 3m x 1.5m is a good size to play big really big battles.
Sometimes you want to go really big, though.
When I play battles with 50.000 points(total) and more on the battlefield
you get a full table(floor)
Sometimes I increased the width up to 2m
but with 20-30 cm deployment zone you still have about 1.7 m upto the other edge
too much for most units.
I tested once a different deployment to get all units into combat, and make use of the table(floor) as much as I can.
I sat up a city table and choosed to set up both armies at each half of the table
just with a small "neutral" zone(20cm) in the middle.
Like a frontline through a city, one side of the road is controlled by one side the other one from the enemy.
Now both side could make use of all unit types (cc, medium range, long range)
you still can break through the enemy lines and reach the other edge
while you can spread your troops more around the table.
Worked very well and was a bloddbath
