Plague Zombies come in on the Guard's right flank to tie them up. The Guard fails to activate its mechanized company on the right flank so the Supreme Commander and Baneblades end up blasting them while the Sentinels go down screening.

Manticores and the Shadowsword manage to break one of the Hellcannons while the other puts some hurt on the Baneblades. The Vultures break from the Doomwings and don't do much for the rest of the game.

The left Mechanized company fails as well while Transported covens swing around on both flanks of the guard. The alters move up as well while the Plague Tower fails.

Finally, the Warhound manages to break the Silver Towers, destroying all but 1.

The Coven on the left flank is screened by Vultures as the Mech coy there doubles up with the Shadowsword to threaten Redux T&Hs.

In the center, a Bloodthirster wrecks the Warhound and the second Shadowswords manages to miss it. Badeblades swing back center to deal with it, its coven, and the unbroken Hellcannons. They take a pounding but manage to hold on.

More plague zombies slow the Guard's right blank as the Supreme Commander and the second Mech coy blast them and the Coven holding the Redux's left flank.

Turn 3

The Vultures continue to stall the Coven on the Guard's far left flank while the Shadowswords lock down DTF, killing the Bloodthirster and breaking the Hellcannons in the process. The Mech coy on the left flank also manages to secure a T&H while breaking a coven in the process.

In the center, the Altar coven manages to break and destroy most the Guard's Baneblade BTS, before it makes a hasty retreat out of range. One Sentinel screen is lost as well, but the other makes a mad dash across the open to grab the undefended Blitz. The Plague tower, sat on the base line for the game can't manage to deny Blitz to the Guard.

On the Guard's right the Zombies and covens mostly throw themselves at the Supreme Commander and Mech Coy, preventing them from grabbing objectives.

End of Game

The Guard win it with T&H and Blitz, thanks to a wily Sentinel pilot and the Plague Tower not being able to get out of its own way.
