Start of Game Start of Game Start of Game Hellblades put a PM on the Hell Canons A coven fails and regroups The orbital takes out a good amount of another coven Deathwinds hit the same coven as well The second retinue's Deathwind break the coven and it deploys into its position, taking overwatch fire form the hellcannons The first retinue engages another coven It summons 3 daemons to protect again hellcanon overwatch 3 Marines and a lot of Cultists go down The Alter gets away and the marines un-intermingle The Plaguetower breaks the unactivated retinue A second alter breaks the engaging retinue Helltalons take out 4 cultists They summon and double, hacking down a marine The Warlord doubles and lays a BM on the Hellcannons A coven doubles or marches Raptors engage the Hellcannons One gets away Terminators engage the coven broken by the Strike Cruiser 1 to 7, Corsairs The Coven is destroyed Zombies!

Turn 2 Turn 2 The Warlord engages the second Hell Canons for the loss of a Rhino Terminators retain and engage the alter The BTS drives away! The Plague Tower breaks a retinue Helltalons break the coven next to it A second alter summons and doubles on the Warlord A THawk langs to pic up the Terminators and breaks the Hellcannon A coven doubles on the Warlord Raptors engage the BTS They take it down Plague zombies fail and move Helltalons break the coven Blitz guard A coven doubles and the Warlord starts to feel surrounded... A THawk pics up the Raptors and lays a BM on the Plague Tower

Turn 3 Turn 3 An alter summons and engages, things get messy for t he Warlord The Warlord goes down hard and the LatD get BTS Raptors engage the Plague Tower They break is and and the coven breaks from the assault BM A coven circles the wagons on a T&H Helltalons break the pesky Hell Canon moving towards the blitz A coven breaks Blitz The other Helltalons stands down Plague Zombies protect a DTF Termintors land and contest a T&H, taking out some Cultists

Turn 4 Turn 4 Raptors summon engage the Plague Tower It goes down Terminators retain and sustain, clearing off the coven on a T&H They get broken in turn by another coven Hell Blades stand down The second kill trucks ont he Blitz A Thawk break the big mutant who won't die that's contesting Blitz A Thawk stands down, failing to contest Blitz

LatD won this 3-2 with Blitz, T&H and BTS to Blitz and BTS. The failed Hell Talons and THawk at the end prevented it from going to points, and the strategy loss on turn 3 left the Warlord trampled. Overall, the closest game I've had in recent memory. Karl's strategy of keep dieing and push forward worked well here.
