Kyussinchains and I played last night, no photos as it was too dark

Simons was something like
Retinue+SC+Pact+Obliterator
Retinue+Rhinos+Pact

Havocs+Rhinos+Pact
Chosen+Rhinos+Pact
Terminators+Obliterator
Decimator
Decimator
Helltalons
Chosen+Dread+Pact+Dreadclaws
9 lesser daemons

Terrain was 12 pieces of area terrain which block LoS
Simon won the roll off and decided his spaceship would arrive t2, I chose turn 1.
I deployed the mandrakes in a semi circle from my blitz (on my r of board) to provide a scout screened pocket to deploy in. Both VoP and 1 Kabal deployed in the pocket. 1 Scourge are in the Slavebringer, 1 Scourge are teleporting, Incubi and 2nd Kabal are in the webway.
Simon deployed his foot retinue in OW on his blitz (on his right side). Both mounted retinues and 1 decimator deployed centrally, the havocs, chosen and other decimator on his left.

Turn 1
No teleports.
I went first and the torture killed a rhino and the Lord with its barrage and then destroyed the central Decimator with a critical.
Hellblades ground attack and break the on board Kabal (killing 2 raiders, 3 warriors)
Razorwings intercept the Hellblades but only put a BM on them
The retinue that was hit by the cruiser marshal and move forward slightly
Voidravens ground attack the other decimator but it saves both hits
Foot retinue goes back on OW
Mandrakes go on OW
Havocs double into the centre of the board
VoP doubles behind cover centrally
Mounted retinue summons 4 flamers and doubles forward
VoP doubles forward and shoots the Havocs killing the Lord
Decimator doubles and shoots that VoP - just a BM
Slavebringer and Scourge land and shoot the decimator - 2 hits, 1 wound - criticals
Chosen summon 5 daemonic beasts and assault the scourge and slavebringer wiping them out
Kabal marches out of the webway to threaten the marshalled retinue, deploy portable webgate
Incubi assault the retinue out of the webway (with FF support from marched kabal), retinue is wiped out in resolution, 2 incubi die. They then move behind a hill.

Rallying - broken kabal on my blitz rallies

Turn 2
Simon wins roll off and makes me teleport first. Scourge teleport in protective screen around BTS incubi. Terminator teleport beside them. No BMs on either.
I go first
Void ravens ground attack terminators but do nothing
Kabal that marched t1 assaults terminators (FF support from scourge). Kabal wins by 2 (1 warrior, 3 raiders die) leaving 1 terminator+the obliterator)
Havocs summon 4 beasts and assault the scourge. Scourge win roll off (on -2) but are broken.(2 left) Havocs run off into wood.
VoP singles and shoots chosen- 1 CSM, 1 rhino killed
Razorwings go on CAP
Devastation cruiser deploys, barrage misses, pin point misses VoP (thanks to shadowfields). Drop pod redirects a bit closer to VoP (the one BMed by the pin point which hasn't yet activated this turn). Chosen+dread get out of pod.
Chosen summon 6 flamers and assault VoP destroying it
Incubi assault the mounted chosen wiping them out with resolution
Helltalons fail to activate
Rallied battered Kabal on my blitz doubles and shoots the pod chosen killing 1
Mandrakes assault them in FF but lose (1 mandrake survives)

Rallying - Mandrake fails, Scourge rally
Terminators fail, Chosen from pod fail and then break when the daemons disappear. Havocs rally

Whatever gave you that impression? ;) it was actually a really fun game, if I'd won the strategy roll earlier than turn 4 I might have turned it around...

Great game so far. Some great brutality showing the fragility and flexibility of the DE! I love the march, portal, engage move!

Turn 3

Dark Eldar go first again

DE VoP sustains on the mounted retinue - rather underwhelmingly it only kills 1 rhino
DE Incubi formation assaults and wipes out the rallied havocs in CC
BL Helltalons ground attach the Incubi breaking them, they flee back toward their blitz
BL Mounted retinue summons 4 daemons and shoots the mounted kabal doing nothing
DE Void ravens ground attack the mounted retinue killing 3 stands
BL Foot retinue marches so it is on its blitz and 1 other objective
DE Scourge fail to activate and break
DE Kabal in BL half fails to activate
DE Rallied Kabal shoots the mounted retinue killing 1 stand

Incubi, Mandrake rally Scourge fail. Terminators fail with reroll, chosen fail

Turn 4
BL go first
BL Helltalons need reroll to come on and break the Incubi
BL Mounted retinue retains doubles and shoots the incubi kills 1 stand (by BM) leaving just the Archon
DE Mandrake goes on OW on own blitz
BL Foot retinue goes on OW on own blitz and 1 forward objective
DE Razorwings ground attack battered mounted retinue killing 3 units
DE Void ravens do the same breaking the formation
DE VoP singles onto objective and shoots the broken mounted retinue wiping it out
DE remnants of Kabal double onto other objective and wipe out broken Chosen
That gave DE all 3 objectives in their half
Terminators rally finally giving BL a formation in the DE half and stopping them winning. Incubi also rally

We rolled and both rolled the same so turn 5
BL go first
BL Helltalons ground attack the Archon (last remaining stand of the BTS Incubi) he makes the save
BL Terminators march behind cover in DE half
DE VoP singles and wipes out the terminators
That gave DE 2-0 (Defend the flag, they shall not pass)
DE Void ravens and Razorwings ground atrtack the foot BTS retinue but don't do much so it stays at 2-0
